The 13U Division is for 12 and 13 year old's (Birth Years: 2009 & 2010). Players continue to pitch and catch at this level. There is a combination of practices/drills and games. Working on the foundational skills of throwing, catching and hitting continues at this level. Further developing the mechanics of pitching is an important focus with this age group. Players can now lead off and steal bases during game situations. Try outs for Rep/Travel Teams occur in this division.
A baseball hat and jersey are provided. Players should bring their own glove and batting helmet. Cleats and baseball pants are recommended but not required. Many players use their own bats but this is not required as their is a variety of bats provided for use. Jocks are required for all players at this level. A water bottle should also be brought each day. It is a good idea to have your child's equipment and water bottle clearly marked with their name.
